Included is a vintage case which shows wear and needs manual assistance for the latches, the handle is solid and it holds the horn fine. There is normal wear which includes missing plating, pings, and there is a shallow dent which can be viewed in the last photo above. Cosmetically, it is in good condition for it’s age. The valves work well and it has a nice blow with a warm rounded tone.

Of his story but this seems to have been re-lacquer. I have little time with him, I have no information. It had wear and tear, it is clean in disinfected. This saxophone has a new pad and works fine. Selmer company made little more than 200. These horns were made an extremely small runs or custom order through out the year and were never any kind of mass produced horn. Low A Mark VIs are some of the most rare Selmer Paris horns ever made. This horn is a collectors dream example of a low A and high F# key Mar k vi. This item can be shipped to United States. The item “1951 SELMER PARIS SUPER BALANCED ACTION SBA PROFESSIONAL TENOR SAXOPHONE 47XXX” is in sale since Friday, December 11, 2020. Included is a well used, structurally sound wood shell tenor saxophone case(latches catch, but springs are broken, missing one case handle and the other case handle needs to be replaced soon) and a granadilla wood body end plug. There is noticeable engraving detail on the bell/bow and the matching body/neck serial number is in the lower 47, xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to 1951. This tenor saxophone has scratches throughout from normal use and lacquer wear is noticeable, with approximately 75-80% of lacquer intact(most likely this has been professionally re-lacquered at some time). There are NO patches and No major dents present. Most keys move freely and the pads/corks are only in fair condition(has older dry pads, which should be replaced soon for optimal performance).
The item “SELMER PARIS REFERENCE 54 PROFESSIONAL ALTO SAXOPHONE HONEY GOLD LACQUER NICE” is in sale since Monday, April 1, 2019. Included is a gently used Selmer Paris zippered alto sax case(with carrying strap that isn’t pictured). The serial number is in the 720, xxx range and some lacquer is discolored surrounding the number. This alto sax has scratches throughout from normal use and the honey gold lacquer wear is minimal, with approximately 90-95% of the lacquer intact. There are no major dents present and several minor dings are too small to photograph. All keys move freely and the pads are in good condition.
